IPL everlasting hair removal is based on intense pulsating light flashes. Intense pulsating light destroys the active hair follicles. Not all follicles are active at once, but all follicles become active in time and they can be destroyed. That is why it can take between 6 and 12 sessions at 4-6 weeks distance between session to remove most of the visible hair.
