0.3 norm for tanning salons

Starting with september 2016, there are new legal rules that must be followed regarding the tanning salons. Among these are also:
- each client must fill out a statement of liability before the first tanning session in every salon
- each client will have a personal file filled out by the salon personell where it is written the skin type and the choosed tanning plan (the tanning plan is choosed from a standard table with maximum tanning times accordind to each skin type)
- every tanning device in Romania must follow the so-called EU 0.3 norm

EU 0.3 norm states that IRRADIANCE OF TANNING DEVICES (ERITEM IRRADIANCE) MUST NOT EXCEED 0.3 W/SQM. Every devices that exceed this limit is considered unsafe for use.
This norm was conceived such as a tanning session in a device with lamps of 0.3 W/sqm to offer the same tanning effect as the summer mediteranean sun in the middle of the day, but without the risk of redness or skin irritation.

What does the 0.3 norm mean for clients

You must know that UV lamps that follow the 0.3 W/sqm norm don't have inferior tanning performance! Indeed, the required time of tanning will be a little longer to get tha same tanning (with approximately 3-4 minute), but this is a good thing givind the advantages described bellow.

In order to comply with the new laws, our tanning device got NEW Ultra Gold Extreme + Vitamin D lamps.
Ultra Gold Extreme + Vitamin D lamps are PREMIUM products in tanning industry, and are made by the german company JW Sales (Narva Lichtquellen Gmbh), the same company the produces Cosmedico lamps.
These UV lamps are unique tanning lamps, which adds extra vitamin D to our body by ideally combining the UVA and UBV radiations.
In order to comply with the new safety measures but also for a superior tanning result, these UV lamps were created for intense tanning and a lot of benefits for our organism.
